Dag T Heggset has many years experience from the mission field and South Asia has a very big piece of his heart. For more than twenty years Dag has walked through jungles, across mountains, travelled rivers, visited villages and urban cities in the Himalaya region as well as in South East Asia. Often he secretly brought Bibles in the local language of the tribe or group he was to visit. He has preached the good news in many places that never had a visit from any missionary, and he has trained scores of churches, believers, evangelists, and pastors to live their Jesus lives in their daily basis environments. One example is the North-Eastern Indian state Assam, where he in 2011 pioneered a campaign team and the ministry is still vibrant today.. 

In 2006 he received an open vision from God for Thailand. During the flight to the annual evangelist conference ACE (Association of Campaign Evangelists), the map of Thailand came down from the ceiling of the plane and hung in front of his eyes. Suddenly, all the provinces on the map caught fire – simultaneously. There were now living flames all over the Thai map. As Dag sought God about the interpretation of the vision there was an instant response; `This is what will happen in Thailand, when there is a massive mobilization of multiple ministries sharing the gospel in all provinces simultaneously. For more than 20 years Thailand has been Dag´s main focus and now he is seeing clear signs that the vision is going to come to pass very soon! 

Dag has been trained and sharpened at Troens Bevis Bible and Missions Institute (TBBMI), as well as by being a part of networks such as Go Out Mission, Ethnos Asia, Christ to Thailand Mission and ACE (Association of Campaign Evangelist), to mention some.

On a daily basis he is a Bible school teacher at the Bibleschool in Trondheim, and is devoting time to empower the body of Christ to go out with the good news! Trondheim is also where his home church is based, namely Betel Trondheim. 

Dag is an anointed musician and worship leader and often makes use of the music as a tool to reach people with the gospel.

As a part of the Jesus to all Nations Team, his main focus will be on South East Asia and especially on Thailand which has captured his heart. 

Dag is living in Melhus south of Trondheim, Norway. Dag is married to Solveig and has four daughters.
